This event is SOLD OUT. Keep your eye out for our next trip in February
At the end of the winter term, join RNSD for an exciting end of year trip to the theatre. We’re off to visit young Clara as she is swept away into an enchanting winter wonderland of dancing snowflakes and a Sugar Plum Fairy. Her magical Christmas tree and her handsome prince with his army of toy soldiers are an unforgettable delight. In this most festive ballet, gigantic sets, lavish costumes, 60 dancers and a full orchestra combine to make the perfect Christmas treat. The world-famous production by Sir Peter Wright, with exquisite costume designs by John Macfarlane, is acclaimed as one of the best in the world.
Ms Parker has arranged for us to take an educational backstage tour before the show to meet some of the cast, technical crew, see the costumes and understand more about the intricate workings of the Hippodrome Theatre. This is an opportunity not to be missed!
