Student Teacher Application

We are looking for two voluntary Student Teacher positions at RNSD, assisting Miss Geraldine in Moseley on Saturday mornings from 9:00 - 11:30, starting from 6th September.
Applications are open to dancers Intermediate+ and applicants must be able to commit to the position throughout the year.

Description
You will be an aid to the teacher during their lessons, helping them to manage classes, demonstrating steps to students, helping students to achieve, whilst learning more about your own ballet technique.

You are expected to arrive 5/10 minutes before class to help set up. You should set out barres, scarves or any other appropriate props ready for class. Barres need to be assembled & moved to the side before class begins.

You should at all times act in a professional manner. This means being respectful (to the pupils & the teacher), positive, calm, kind, supportive, approachable, trustworthy, well turned out, punctual, proactive & reliable. You are an ambassador for the school.

RNSD will provide you with a Student Teacher teeshirt and opportunity to earn glowing references.
