Trip to BRB Cinderella and optional Repertoire Class with BRB Teacher

On the Friday of the February half-term, join RNSD for another trip to the theatre. This time, we'll be seeing David Bintley’s take on the enchanting fairytale as a glorious celebration of ballet, with breathtaking designs by John Macfarlane, designer of Birmingham Royal Ballet’s famous Nutcracker.

Cinderella’s life with her cruel stepmother and stepsisters is one of drudgery and hardship until the evening of an extravagant party at the palace. With the help of her Fairy Godmother, she’s the centre of attention when she arrives at the ball in a magical coach and wearing a gorgeous gown. The handsome Prince sweeps her off her feet and they dance the night away until the clock chimes midnight and the evening comes to an abrupt end.

The performance-only option is suitable for any pupil from RNSD aged 8+, however for those of you studying at Grade 5+ or a Vocational level (Inter Found, Intermediate etc), Ms Parker has booked an hour and a half long Repertoire Class at BRB studios with a BRB teacher before the performance which will be a fantastic opportunity. You will need a packed dinner and a change of clothes/ tracksuit to put over the top of your dancewear. There will be an hour and a half between the end of the class and the start of the performance to change, eat and be in our seats.
